01Controller and contact

Findovo is the public trade name of a service operated from Mexico under the public name Victor Pozos. For support, privacy inquiries, data rights or deletion requests, contact [email protected].

02Account and organization data

For Android launch, Findovo offers Google Sign-In only. Firebase Authentication processes the Google-provided email address, account identifier, sign-in provider and necessary profile details. Findovo processes item names, categories, user-described locations, notes, dates, kits, Ready Check status and preferences. These locations describe where you placed objects, not GPS tracking. Firestore synchronizes private and Household information.

03Purposes and optional features

We use information to secure Google sign-in, store and synchronize your organization, enable collaboration, recognize Premium access and handle requests. Photos, Households, cloud AI, purchases and export depend on available features and your choices. Reminders and notifications depend on app preferences and device permissions. The reviewed app did not show advertising or analytics integration, though providers may maintain technical logs. Do not submit sensitive or third-party information you are not authorized to process.

04Photos and artificial intelligence

Object, kit and profile photos are stored locally in the app; reviewed object synchronization excludes photo paths and no Firebase Storage upload call was identified. If cloud AI is enabled, a question, up to 250 inventory entries (names, categories, locations, notes and dates), some conversation history and a preliminary local answer may be sent to a server; it indicates whether a photo exists without transmitting the photo. Visual Ready Check is different: when requested, a selected image, kit name, checklist and language may be sent through a server to Google Gemini. Not all images necessarily remain on-device. Actual AI settings and provider retention must be confirmed for release.

05Providers and communications

Reviewed integrations include Google/Firebase for authentication, synchronization and messaging, Google Sign-In, RevenueCat and the store for enabled purchases, a Cloudflare-based account service at auth.findovo.app, Resend for account messages and Google Gemini for configured AI features. Older email/password flows are not part of the planned public Android sign-in. Necessary data may include account identifiers, synchronized content, notification tokens, applicable email, purchase status and AI prompts or images. Website hosting may generate access logs. Active providers, transfer locations and retention conditions must be verified before release.

06Households and shared visibility

Joining a Household exposes membership information, name, email and role subject to Household permissions. Shared objects, locations and activity may contain authors’ names, emails and identifiers; roles include owner, moderator and member. When an account is deleted, shared content remains, linked attribution fields are cleared and identifiable activity is neutralized. Historic name-only mentions and members’ free text may require a manual review; no blanket replacement is performed based on a matching name. Request assistance at [email protected].

07Notifications and device lock

Firebase Cloud Messaging processes a notification token linked to the account, platform, language, status and update date. Household alerts and news, plus local reminders and Ready Check notices, depend on permissions and preferences. Optional app locking relies on operating-system authentication, which may use biometrics or a device credential. Findovo receives the authentication result, not fingerprint templates or face scans in the reviewed code. The lock does not provide additional encryption for every app file.

08Purchases

When purchases are enabled, RevenueCat uses the account identifier to recognize Premium entitlements and restore purchases; the store processes payments and the reviewed app forms do not collect card numbers. Removing Findovo or deleting the account does not cancel a subscription or automatically erase the store’s and RevenueCat’s independently managed records.

09Export and restore

A JSON export may include available private data, kits, Ready Check, an account identifier and certain profile details or preferences. It excludes photos and paths, Household data, scheduled reminders, credentials and Premium entitlements, and is not a complete copy of provider systems. Restore requires a valid export for the same account plus a cloud check; it adds missing records while preserving matches and recorded deletions rather than replacing everything. Copies you export or share are not deleted automatically.

10Retention and deletion

An accepted, authenticated request starts background deletion, disabling access and removing private account data. Structured author references, administrative notification recipients and old invitations are cleaned; shared Household content remains. A technical job record supports retries and prevents improper recreation; its expiration has not yet been specified. Failures may be retried after at least five minutes and completed jobs checked again no sooner than 24 hours; neither is a maximum deletion deadline. Acceptance does not mean completion. Legal deadlines apply. Retention requires a specific, documented and proportionate legal reason, not indefinite storage; manual checks and errors do not automatically exempt data from deletion. See the account-deletion page.

11Your rights, withdrawal and restriction

Email [email protected] with subject “Findovo Privacy”, your name, a reply channel, relevant account, requested access, correction, cancellation or objection, and the data concerned. You may withdraw consent or request limits on use/disclosure, subject to applicable conditions; withdrawal does not act retroactively. Ownership will be verified proportionately: do not send passwords or unnecessary identity documents. Mexican ARCO procedure generally provides up to 20 business days for a decision and 15 business days to implement an approved request, with permitted justified extension. These legal deadlines are not replaced by the technical account-deletion process.

12Ages 13 and up

Findovo is intended for users aged 13 or older, not children under 13. Minors should use it with a parent’s or guardian’s authorization where necessary. If you become aware of an under-13 account, contact support for review.
